About
anessa Fernández is a Cuban-Armenian artist, jewellery designer and master goldsmith whose work brings together sculptural design, traditional craftsmanship and fine jewellery. Working from her private studio in Miami, she creates distinctive, one-of-a-kind pieces characterised by bold forms, fluid movement and vibrant gemstones.
Her professional journey has taken her from Bali to Paris, where she worked with the design team at John Hardy and alongside Lorenz Bäumer on projects associated with Louis Vuitton. She has also collaborated on projects involving Christie’s, Tasaki and Gucci, building an international perspective on design and craftsmanship.
In 2021, Fernández began creating jewellery through work with the U.S. Department of State and the White House, producing handcrafted pieces for official diplomatic gifting. Her practice remains deeply hands-on, encompassing design, sculpting, alloy development, casting and finishing, with a strong commitment to individuality and responsible material sourcing.
Her work has received international recognition, including the Best in Bridal award at the 2024 Couture Design Awards and multiple industry honours in 2025. Through her studio, Fernández continues to explore the relationship between jewellery and sculpture, creating expressive pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, material and movement. V
